Who is Mr. Shearer?: Mr. Shearer has been teaching at Crawford Tech since 2007. He is a graduate of the Diesel Technology Program at the former Crawford County AVTS. Mr. Shearer is a licensed private pilot and is a certified Master Technician through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Mr. Shearer is also a State Inspection Instructor for Crawford Tech’s Adult Evening Program.
Favorite Part of Teaching: Mr. Shearer’s favorite part of teaching is the students. He enjoys being able to work alongside students and help them to learn new skills and become diesel technicians.
Outside of School: When Mr. Shearer is not teaching; he enjoys spending time with his family and working on his farm. He tries to be outside as much as possible and says he always ends up finding some diesel equipment to work on.
