Who is Mrs. Stein? Mrs. Stein has been teaching at Crawford Tech since 2002. She started by teaching Cosmetology, but then transitioned to teaching Cooperative Education in 2014. She is a graduate of the former Crawford County AVTS Cosmetology program and Maplewood High School. She has been a hairstylist for over 35+ years.
Before becoming a teacher, Mrs. Stein was a hairdresser at The Hair Company in Meadville for 17 years. She received her Vocational I and II Instructor Teaching Certification and her Cooperative Education certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education through Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Favorite Part of Teaching: Mrs. Stein’s favorite part of teaching is building relationships with her students and watching them learn and grow as young adults in the workplace. Watching students get excited about the skills they are learning day after day on the job. She finds it exciting to see students that want to show their work off to the world because they are so proud of what they are doing.
Outside of School: Mrs. Stein spends most of her time in her flower garden. She finds gardening to be relaxing and enjoyable. The benefits of gardening as a hobby go a long way both physically and mentally.
